| Agriturismo nelle Marche , a Urbania , Agriturismo La Rosa Tea , Agriturismo a Urbino A rose has bloomed : La Rosa Tea , a delightful country house situated on a hilltop, just 2 km from the city of Urbania and the ancient Casteldurante in the Marche region . Here guests can enjoy rest and relaxation in one of the seven rooms, complete with bathroom, tastefully decorated in hues of yellow through to blue, or unwind by the swimming pool, with its peaceful silence. But that’s not all. The antique farmer’s stalls have been transformed into a library, green room and breakfast dining hall . From the windows one can see the Metauro river cascading through the valley, where Annibale was defeated in 207 BC and higher up, the snow that glistens on Mount Nerone, called Lirone by the last duke of Urbino , Francesco Maria II della Rovere . The spacious living room houses a fireplace, illuminated in the winter by wood from the surrounding forests. Your hosts, Roberto and Stefania, tend to the beautiful roses in the garden and are always willing to pass time with their guests. Stefania will tell you of the various places of beauty in the area, Roberto of the flora and fauna of the surrounding woods . And the surprises continue. In the old Pieve di Monte San Pietro, a stone's throw from La Rosa Tea, the great architect Donato Bramante, protector of Raffaello Sanzio of Urbino and friend of Michelangelo, was baptized. Around here we are in the good company of these great artists! | |
